Other than his archery competitions. Burley has gained respect and recognition from everyone he works with. He has 30-years of hunting experience, 10-years of manufacturing archery equipment and another 10-years in retail and representation work.

If you have never met Burley in person, you have seen him in many hunting videos or TV commercials, as well as magazine articles. Burley is a certified NFAA and NAA Level II Archery Instructor as well as a Basic Archery Instructor for NASP.Burley Hall

"I owe a great amount of gratitude to my wife Phyllis, for her support for the last forty years. Without her, none of my success in archery would have been possible. We have one daughter, Carrie and two granddaughters, Kaylee and Paige. My wife did shoot with me when I first started in amateur classes. After moving to the Pros, it was too much traveling for the both of us. Kaylee who is fifteen, hunted with me when she was younger. Paige is now seven and still plays at archery. Carrie never really got into archery, but they all support me. Without a loving family, success is nothing. God, Family, Archery, Sales - Life is good." - Burley Hall.

Dave Potts
David Potts

David was born in Cleveland, Ohio and his father relocated the family to the eastern Ohio lakes region in the late 50's when David was only 2 years old. Although his father did not hunt, David and his cousins began trapping while in grade school. He would wake up early, before school, go check his traps, and then go to school. He began to hunt the illusive whitetail deer in his teenage years and soon began to bow hunt after taking only three deer with a shotgun. After taking his first deer with a bow he soon realized that the excitement of bow hunting was more rewarding than gun hunting to him. David has only taken whitetail deer with a bow since 1985. David has taken a number of monster bucks over his hunting career. In fact, David harvested a Whitetail that scored a 157 P&Y inches just a few years ago in Ohio.

After some bad experiences at local retail "so called" bow shops, David decided to open his own archery retail shop and began to gather knowledge on proper bow set-ups and shooting form from friends and professional acquaintances in the archery industry. In 2007, after ten years of retail service, David sold his bow shop and pursued a career in the design and manufacturing of practical and affordable archery bow sights. David is now the national sales manager for Axion Archery. David is also sponsored by Mathews bows.
